Ade Hearts Walkthrough

Ade Hearts is a great online hearts game that challenges you to finish the game with the lowest possible score out of all of your opponents. You need to think carefully before you make you moves, avoid winning tricks comprised of hearts and avoid the Queen of spades. If you're used to playing hearts or similar trick taking games, you should have no trouble getting the hang of the rules of this one. If you're a newcomer to this sort of game, however, you might find it takes you a bit longer to figure out how the game is played. This isn't an easy game, but it is a lot of fun once you know what you're going and well worth the effort it takes to learn how to play.

Ade Hearts begins the same way as any other hearts game. The first card played in your very first trick is the two of clubs. After the two of clubs is played, the game will continue on around the table in a clockwise rotation for every player to lay a card. The person who lays the highest ranked card of the starting suit wins the trick. The starting suit can only be diamonds, clubs or spades at the beginning of the game as hearts cannot be laid initially until hearts are broken. As soon as a player lays a heart when they have no cards of the suit being played, hearts are broken and can therefore be laid at the start of the hand.

The great thing about Ade Hearts is that you are able to 'shoot the moon'. This isn't an unfamiliar term with anyone used to playing hearts cards games, but for those that aren't familiar with it, it's one of the best ways to win a hand. It isn't easy to do, but with a little planning (and luck) you can do it. You need to take all the heart cards as well as the Queen of spades. If you're able to shoot the moon, you get not only a 0 for the hand but all of your opponents automatically get 26 points added to their scores.

If you've never played hearts before, be patient and play a few hands. Ade Hearts allows you to play as a different character each time you start a game and the characters are animated in a fun way, so you won't get tired of the game and playing as the same person. The more you play, the better you'll get. This isn't an easy game to explain so there is really no better substitute than experience. Remember, do what you can to avoid winning tricks with hearts. Get rid of your highest cards first so you're less likely to win tricks that contain hearts. The goal of the game isn't to get the most cards or win the most hands. The goal of the game is to finish with the lowest score. Having high cards in your hand toward the end of the round makes it much more likely you're going to win tricks you don't want to win. As long as you keep that in mind, you should have no problem getting the hang of the game and coming out on top.
